Choosing Wisely: Value Added Cancer Care for India
ecancer is thankful for your participation at the Choosing Wisely: Value Added Cancer Care for India Two-day Summit for Early Career Oncologists, celebrated in Kolkata on the 19th and 20th October 2019 in collaboration by Tata Medical Center.
The topics were approached from the perspective of 'choosing wisely', an initiative recently launched in India which is seeking to reduce low value and harmful practices in cancer care. Thank you to King’s College London, the National Cancer Grid India and the Tata Trusts as well as regional oncology societies for the high level contribution to the meeting.
The meeting was attended by around 150 early career oncologists from across India, as well as surgical, ENT, radiotherapy trainees and other doctors involved in the first line treatment of cancer. 90% of the participants rate this ecancer event as good.
The videos about the conference are available on ecancer.org for free.
